I have been volunteering for a variety of parrot-focused organizations since 2008, primarily by donating technical expertise, graphic design, facebook/website administration and photography, in addition to assisting with fundraising.

I have a personal blog, For Parrots, where I write about what is going on in the world of parrot conservation and companion parrot care, and also provide free, downloadable posters I have designed that organizations and individuals can use in their public education campaigns about parrot welfare.

In 2000, I helped care for wild seabirds who were victims of a Canola oil spill (Vancouver, BC).
